Family Counseling is generally provided during 50-minute weekly sessions (via telehealth), and include all members of the family that are affected or can offer insight into the presenting problem. Family Counseling can be an emotional process. Members of the family unit are encouraged to recognize underlying issues that may affect the presenting problems as well as to acknowledge the varying experiences within the family unit. Therapy will assess the family’s ability to make changes, and implement strategies for facilitating lasting results.
